Zombie Kush, a delicacy for the gods

In this article I would like to tell you about one of my latest crops, with one of which for me will be, from now on, a plant that cannot be missing in my mother's closet. Zombie Kush from our marijuana seed bank Ripper Seeds , which came to my hands thanks to a great friend of whom I am very grateful for this and other gestures that I am already used to.

Story about how Zombie Kush was cultivated

On this occasion I was about to do a Critical Mass self-cultivation when a friend let me know that he was going to give me to try a Zombie Kush clone, which I had smoked on other occasions but never personally cultivated. To carry out this cultivation, the technique of using fertilizers that I related in was used. another article on growing methods . It was made in 5-liter pots using soil from a well-known brand (light mix version). All the cultivation was carried out under a 600w Hps lamp, with the bulb just changed so that the plants could receive the maximum light at all times, being able to give an optimal result in terms of production. The temperature at which the cultivation of this variety was carried out, reached around 30º Celsius in growth, and never exceeded 28º in flowering, since it was carried out in the hottest summer months. In my opinion, it was a bit at the temperature limit and if it had not been so high, the production would have been higher, although it was good under these conditions. The humidity at all times was around 50%, being able to see how it was not detected in any case that it was a high relative humidity to carry out the flowering. I would not recommend going over 50% humidity with these types of plants, since with what the flowers are filled we could have some unwanted problem and have to discard part of those precious flowers. This time there was a total of 25 days of growth . As you all know, these are varieties to which you have to give a longer growth, (30 days approx.) To be able to see their full development without reaching the point of leaving the plants too small, since in that case the flowers would not reach either to a very high development. At the point where I have increased the Ec of the water in this variety it has been 2.0 , without giving any sign of overfertilization or any type of lack of nutrients. The pH of the irrigation water was always checked so that it reached the range of Ph 6 . In this Ph the plant had a very good assimilation of nutrients with which the flowering ended in perfect conditions.

Surprising curiosities of Zombie Kush

In my personal opinion, this variety is one of those marijuana plants that will appreciate a low rate of nutrients and, if possible, fertilizers with biological fertilizers. In this way, the smell that the flowers of this plant give off at the end of flowering is something that will delight us day after day as the flowers mature. The smell of this variety after a few days of drying (as we can see in this photograph) is a perfect mix of typical nuances of the Bubba Kush , such as licorice and hints of damp earth, with fresh hints of lavender from the Lavender Kush variety.

I could never imagine that a variety that contains the famous Bubba Kush in its parents could finish flowering with only 55 days. By the 5th week of flowering, I could already see that the process was advanced and should soon start with a good root cleaning. I like to give a minimum of two weeks of cleaning, to allow all the remaining fertilizer that may remain in the ground to be ingested by the plant, getting to have to feed on the oldest leaves. If you are a lover of Kush breeds and you are looking for a plant that is of early flowering and a resin production that leaves you with your mouth open, Zombie Kush should be, without a doubt, your choice.
