Ripper Seeds Zombie Crew. How to do it. by Joel Abad & Marcos Cabrera

What better way to start the year than by redecorating the Ripper Seeds office. A great day in good company. Here we leave you the Making Off and the final result.

After months of trying to find time to match all the parts, we finally succeeded. Joel Abad & Marcos Cabrera mural in our office. An abstraction of the Ripper Crew as Zombie Kush that we wanted to do for a long time. It was very interesting to see these two beasts of illustration together and get a project where their two styles and techniques merged without detracting from each other. On the one hand the search for the most effective simplicity of Joel Abad, the perfect line that represents the figure in the most simple and effective way and on the other hand the more baroque style of Marcos Cabrera with more lines and a more notable use of stains black and contrasting that helps you get more volume. It was interesting to see how each adapted to the technique of the other. Joel is used to using the flat brush, modulating the inclination to achieve different thicknesses, while Marcos Cabrera uses Posca markers of various thicknesses which give greater control of the tool to those of us who are used to the typical pencil. Each technique had its advantages and disadvantages, but both managed to adapt perfectly to the other's technique, achieving a unique and balanced work.

Thanks Crew
